The light-up feature uses two AAA batteries, which are not included. To install the batteries, use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws in the battery compartment door on the back of the handle. Insert two AAA batteries. Replace the cover, replace the screws, turn the switch to ON, and see the light!
